Ramadan Food Pack - Bangladesh
Bangladesh continues to face economic challenges due to rising inflation, climate-related disasters, and ongoing financial hardships affecting vulnerable communities.
As of 2022, the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics reported that nearly 19% of the population lived below the national poverty line, with 5.6% in extreme poverty. This indicates that nearly one in five Bangladeshis faces financial hardship, underscoring the need for continued support.
This year, we have adjusted our food packages by reducing smaller, more affordable items and increasing essential staples like rice and flour. These packs provide basic necessities to sustain a family throughout Ramadan.
By donating, you ensure fasting families have a meal at Suhoor and Iftar, offering them comfort and nourishment during this sacred time.
