          Frequently Asked Questions

How do we select the location for a masjid?
We carefully evaluate requests for masjid construction across Pakistan. Our team assesses each location's suitability, ensuring that new masjids are built where they're most needed and matching the masjid capacity to the local community size.

Who owns the land?
Land ownership is a crucial part of our feasibility process. We ensure that the land belongs either to the local community or to the verified requesting party, enhancing the masjid's long-term stability and accessibility.

Who manages the masjid after construction?
Our projects are turnkey, meaning once construction is complete, we hand over the masjid to the local community. They then become responsible for its management, including the imam's salary. You can contribute to ongoing costs by donating towards salary expenses, supporting the community's ability to maintain regular prayers and services.

Are there maintenance costs?
While we use durable materials like floor tiles and wipeable oil paints, all buildings require upkeep. Typical maintenance includes repainting every few years, servicing wudu and toilet facilities, and maintaining solar systems if installed. Your donations towards maintenance costs help keep the masjid in excellent condition for years to come.

How long does the construction process take?
Construction typically takes 4 months for the smaller projects and up to 10 months for the larger ones from the time of donation. Factors such as our current project queue, Ramadan observances, and weather conditions may affect the timeline. We'll keep you updated throughout the building process.

Can I visit the masjid I've donated to?
Absolutely! We encourage donors to take an active interest in their completed projects. Contact us to arrange a visit, and we'll be happy to assist you. For safety and respect for local customs, please coordinate all visits through our organization.

What features are included in the masjid project?
Our masjid projects include a carpeted prayer hall, wudu (ablution) facilities, toilets and solar-powered fans for providing a comfortable temperature and lighting for evening use.

By contributing to your masjid project in Pakistan, you're not only providing a place of worship but also creating a community centre that will serve as a source of education, support, and unity for years to come.
